Jewelry Services
Farrar Jewelers offers full-service jewelry repair. All of our repair and restoration services are done in our shop and never sent out of the store unless there is a service requested that is beyond our normal expertise.
Cleaning & Inspection
We clean and inspect your jewelry at no cost to you. We will check that the prongs are not worn and that they secure your diamonds and gemstones tight. If repairs are needed, we will consult with you about the options and pricing.
Repair & Restoration
We offer a wide range of repair and restoration services, ranging from: ring sizing, prong repair, chain repair, prong re-tipping, stone setting, remounts, shank repair, clasps and lock replacement.
Specialty
We work with trustworthy, local businesses to offer a range of specialty work such as appraisals, gem polishing, gem cutting, and pearl stringing.

Custom Jewelry Design
With a blend of modern technology and traditional craftsmanship, our jewelry design process is tailored to be smooth and straight forward, allowing the focus to be on the unique designs for our clients.
DESIGN CONSULTATION
We will sit down with you for a private consultation to go over any design ideas you have. You’re welcome to bring any inspirational references you have or you can look through the books of designs we have in store.
Whether you’re wanting a new piece created from scratch or you have jewelry you’re looking to repurpose, our design process is always free of charge.
3D DESIGN & Prototyping
Once we have worked out an initial concept with you, we will use our state of the art 3D software to create a lifelike rendering of your design. You will be able to get an idea of what the jewelry will look like before having it made and determine whether you would like any alterations to the design.
When you approve the design, we will use the latest in 3D printers to create a resin prototype for you to see and try on in person to decide if any final adjustments need to be made.
Creation
Throughout the entire design process, our designer and master jeweler work together to make certain that you receive the finest possible jewelry based upon your budget.
Once all alterations have been made and the design has been given final approval, we use traditional craftsmanship to cast, set each stone by hand, polish, and finish the one of a kind piece for you to wear.
